IMPORTANT! CloudComPy no longer requires a Conda environment (2026 versions).

For the older versions, on Windows, with the 2025 and before versions of CloudComPy, the Conda environment installation procedure no longer worked (September 5, 2025). This may also be the case for other versions and for macOS and Linux. This happens from time to time when Conda packages are updated.  There is a working solution in the instructions provided with the latest 2025 version of CloudComPy on Windows.
